If any of you have a surname that starts with G, I will be happy to look it up for you and tell you what it says. Mostly it tells you what county the land grant was in, the year it was granted the number of acres, the book and page its recorded on and the number of the land grant. 3. Linda, "OTTO" sounds so familar that I could almost reach out and touch it. But I don't have it in any of my records so far. I know that I have run across this name somewhere in the last month or so. Tell me more about him, another name beside Otto or any dates. I have been looking at several sites but nothing that I can retrace. I have several books and I will double check in our counties. But please give me a little more. Joseph has been my brick wall. 3. Gunters are to this day living in the Bellevue area. Members of that family Jim & Carolyn operated Gunters Market for a long time just over the railroad tracks that made an T intersection off McCroy Ln. on Hwy. 70 toward Pegram. I remember folks by that surname in the community while growing up over there back in the early '70s. B. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/5519/WhB.2ACI/192.1.1 Message Board Post: Well Howdy Cuz, :) I also am descended from Mary Brazzell ,(daughter of George Brazzell and Mary Walker) and wife of James Dunnagan My Great Grandmother Pennina Dunnegan, was their Grandaughter. I was able to track Mary's Grandparents some. Her Grandfather came from Scotland and died in Maury TN, having been killed by indians while clearing his land (supposedly). I too have not been able to find anything on George Brazzel. I would really appreciate anything you can find on George and Ada. George's side of the family has been 'fun' also. The Dunnagan's keep changing the spelling of their last name! Again, Thank You
