What ever happened to the Thomas Pittman family who were in Cannon County in the 1850's? I heard they moved to Texas. Thomas Pittman Jr. married Martha G. LaFevers in Cannon County in 1852. ============================= Hello remembered I had seen the above post. While at the college library last week searching for my Pittmans of Dekalb Co. TN I ran across mention of a Thomas Pitman of Cannon Co. TN in reference to his will. There were two listings It was in an index of Early TN Wills & Admin Pitman Thomas 1854 Book 1 p 317 Pitman Thomas 1856 Book 1 p 403 As I mentioned earlier I believe my Pittman line was in Jackson Co. AL prior to being in Dekalb Co. TN or may have went back and forth between the two places...also believe they were in Marion Co. TN and possibly even Franklin Co. TN. I am almost certain that the Pittman who was in Bledsoe Co. in 1850 ties into my Dekalb Co. lines as possibly an uncle or father of my Daniel Pittman. --Marie http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~rmbeckman/pittmandescend.html --=======70A729C7=======-- _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Thanks, Which Fishers are you related to? I'm descended from Logan Gay Fisher and Martha Gregston Fisher. Logan was the son of John Fisher III and Alcey Reynolds, daughter of James Reynolds.
