Anyone using Partlows Books of Deeds, etc for Cannon, DeKalb, Smith and Wilson Counties should be aware that he did a very incomplete job of abstracting. He never lists witnesses to deeds. He leaves out family information inside deeds etc. On one Smith Co., TN deed there is over ten pages of names and he does not list the first name.
