    3. I am working on Dedman`s of smith co and some went to Dakalb co later . Looking over my old emails i had several people to write and i havent stayed in contack and were wondering if they are still out there. At the time i didnt know where they fit in the family. I still hope to do a book on my Dedman`s and my Parkerson ,but have just not been able to do it . I am trying to get back on my research soon. My Dedmans are Cora Mai the daughter of patterson and he was son of Jonthan and Elizabeth Washer . Jonthan was the the son of John and Eliizabeth Wesbter. My daddy Oliver Patterson parkerson( o p) is the one who got be doing research. He talked about his family a lot and and Smith and Dekalb co. My daddy died last nov 6 at age of 83 while riding his horse . There is so much that i should have ask and waited to late to do. Go to your family and ask and ask questions now....     3. One of my Fishers married a Deadman, but don't recall which one. He was a prominent Judge in Smith County and I think also served in the State Legislature, and he lived in Carthage. Also, the old Manchester TN funeral home here in Coffee County was called "Deadman Funeral Home", and it was listed in Ripley's "Believe It or Not"..lol. It was more recently operated by Frank and Tommy Deadman, but it has been sold and is now simply "Manchester Funeral Home".
