Good morning Mary Nell, I am sorry about your loss but what a great story you told about you and your Daddy going to DeKalb and about the cow. My Daddy tells similar stories, his name is David Davis the son of Sidney Chester Davis and Erra Rose Scott. The lived on Route 2 out of Liberty in the hills. I appreciate your offer to take photos. There are a lot as my daddy's family have been in DeKalb County since before it was DeKalb County. They moved to Tennessee in and around 1800. I will send you the names of the cemeteries and if you can help with any of them, I would be most appreciative and the surprise for my daddy, well, I know he will love it. He is 82 this last April and I have been working on his family for about 25 years and I can finally present him with something that he will absolutely love. I have told him all about the wonderful work I have been doing and have shown him what I have on the computer but he has a hard time grasping the concept of the computer and would really like to have it on hard copy so I thought I would incorporate pictures that I have been collecting over the years and give it to him for Christmas.
