I'm trying to find the parents of Charlotta/Charlotte LaFever, James and Nancy (Steele) LaFever in the 1860 census. Charlotte is said to have married a William Nash, who died and she then married Lewis Howell after the death of his first wife, Jerusha Duncan Howell. Can anyone help me figure out where James and Nancy's family were in 1860? I cannot find them in White County. Nancy was a daughter of old John Steele, so they're probably in 1860 DeKalb County census. Thanks, Will
