I have an F. H. Johnson who was 24 listed in the 1850 Smith Co. Census. His wife Juda is 25. They have a daughter, Elizabeth, who is 3 and a daughter, Nancy, 1. I would like to think that this is the family of Elizabeth who married Matthew Curtis. Living next door to F.H. Johnson is John Johnson, 55 born in VA, Nancy 45 b in Va, Children, Mary 21 b. TN, John 18 b. TN, Robberson 16, b. TN, Selana 14, b. TN, Samuel 10 b. TN. I have other census data if you think this might be our Elizabeth Johnson.
