    2. Why don't you put the information on the list, Names, Dates and any information you have and see if anyone on the list responds. You may have cousins on the list just lurking in the dark, waiting... ; ) Your gg-grandmother could probably be found in her parents household in the 1860 census. Simple matter to check if you subscribe to Ancestry.com, etc. If not, each state has a census lookup list at Rootsweb. You could subscribe to the state list where she was born and post an inquiry. Just be sure to include as much information as you know. Her full name, date of birth, place of birth, names of any brothers/sisters, if known. In subject line, be sure to put the census year, county and surname you want searched.
