Their daughter Elizabeth born abt 1725 was married to William J. Cherry Jr. about 1747. Both Elizabeth and William were born in Virginia, (probably Norfolk). I also have a William Manning (Aug 2 1822 - June 10, 1877) married to Mary Jane McClanahan. These McClanahans were in Smith Co., TN.
