Dave, If what is in Ardis Taylor's book is true, then Talitha Cantrell Taylor would have been my great great grandmother. I believe that this Mary Frances who married Dempsey Dock Taylor was my great great grandmother. Dempsey Dock Taylor's son, George Washington Taylor, who married Ollie Hunt was my great grandfather. There daughter, Ollie Olene Taylor was my grandmother. There has been alot of confusion regarding Mary Frances. We thought that she was a Robinson. In the 1870 census she is living with a William and Anne Manning and listed as Frances Robinson. I was almost certain that this was my Frances because they were living right next door to Dempsey Dock Taylor. She was 16 at the time. If you could shed any light, it would be greatly appreciated. My mom and I are going crazy trying to figure this out.
