I'm trying again to find out more about William Lane, who was first found in 1850 DeKalb Census with Elizabeth and Parthena (1); In 1860 DeKalb Census he is listed with ROSS a Linda (translated RosaLinda) Parthena, Elizabeth b 1857, William b 1859, Willie Etta b 1864, all born in DeKalb Co. William is not found in 1870 Census. Rosalinda (Fisher) is listed in this brother, Richard B. Lane in Warren Co and their children are combined by age We are curious about William A.'s death" Did he die in the Civil War as did his brother, H.S. Lane?
