    2. Will, There is a Plunkett Cemetery in DeKalb County but according to the DeKalb County, TN Cemetery book there isn't much there in the way of tombstones. Here is what the book says: Plunkett Cemetery Josie Plunkett 1872-1949 John B. Plunkett 1868-1939 Lem s/o John B. Plunkett January 6, 1896-February 13, 1944 There are probably several other graves, but there is no evidence left. The fence is broken down and cattle are running in the cemetery. Located on Happy Hollow Road about 100 yards east of the Judd-Winchester Cemetery. Copied by Corina Carr, January 1984. In the DeKalb County Marriage book there is listed: Pressley, Jacob to Jennie Mack m. 20 June 1891 by D.G. Eaton JP Hope this has helped, Cheryl Davis-Holman Thanks, I found a death record for Jennie Presley of 24 Feb 1945, with burial in the Plunkett Cemetery. Is this cemetery in Putnam or DeKalb? I have never heard of it. Jennie's death record states her maiden name as WILLIAMS, so she must have married a MACK between 1884-1891. In 1891 she married Jacob "Jake" Presley. I could find NO Mack's in the 1880 census in that region. Her mother was given as Martha Williams. Father's name unknown. She was born in DeKalb County 13 October 1866. Have the Putnam County obits in the 1940's been transcribed?

    3. That explains why they listed Jacob and Jennie's burial place as "Plunkett". That graveyard is close by the Winchester Cemetery. They're actually buried in the W.V. Winchester cem. Two of the Presley's in this family married Winchesters.
