    3. Gary, Would you happen to have anything on Dr. James E. Arnett? I have some information on him, but not death and burial information. I know he was in the area of Woodbury, McMinnville, and Mechanicsville, but I'm not sure where else he may have lived in Tennessee. He was born in Henderson county, Kentucky and went to medical school in Louisville. I have heard one story that says that two brothers who were doctors, went out on a call on New Year's Eve. They never returned and were the victims of Indians. He did have a brother who was a doctor, but I believe that brother stayed in Kentucky. Just wondering. Thanks, Cecelia in Texas ----- Original Message ----- From: "Gary Norris" <gnorris@kih.net> To: <TNDEKALB-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, October 29, 2004 6:52 PM Subject: Re: [TNDEKALB] New Book on DeKalb County and Upper Cumberland > Here's my newest book. 3. From time to time, I have ran across the Arnett name in my area. I have taken it for a similar name "Arney". That is an old family in the Dale Hollow Lake area. I do believe that there were some doctors in this family. Could this possibly be of help? I am sorry to say I do not know of Dr. Arnett's case. I will keep an eye out and if I run across anything that resembles your story, I will put it on the DeKalb County net. Gary D.
