I am trying to find Alyce Adcock Lack. Before her marriage to Corder Lack of Falling Water (White Co) on Aug. 7, 1856, she lived in the household of David Turner & Maria Turner (Pinegar) in the 1850 census of Dekalb Co. of Dist. 7. Why? Was she an orphan? Which Adcock family did she belong to? Was she divorced from Corder Lack? He is in the Adcock cemetary without her! In the 1900 census of Dekalb she is the mom-in-law listed with the Johnson family whom her daughter Sophronia married into. Her grandaughter Sudie Clay Lack was my grandmother.
