I am descended from Levi's sister, Mary Bozarth, born April 1838 married three times: to George Smith in 1856; James Knox Polk Lewis in 1863, and finally to James Steele in 1872. She and James Steele were my great-great grandparents. Don't know about Levi Lafayette, but Mary Steele died in 1924 and is buried at Palmer Cemetery in Silver Point, Putnam County. Might want to check out the death index for Putnam. He may have died there.
