Just to let anyone interested know I finished off the last three districts of the 1840 Dekalb Co. TN Federal Census. All Districts are linked from http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~rmbeckman/dekalbco.html I am sure there are errors as I am human although I have proofed them. You will probably notice some "creative spellings"....just so you know This is how they appear to be written by the census taker. Happy Hunting :) --Marie

Thanks Marie. I know what a pain theses census can be, as we are nearly finished transcribing the 1930 for DeKalb. Hope to have it in print by/before Christmas.
