Glenda sent this message to me rather than the list, but I thought it would be good for it to be read by all of you too. Renea The more the merrier! The more we connect to, the more we learn. As far as I know, I don't have anybody to researchin Henderson Co., but you never know, do you? I've made a lot of connections (cousins) on the DanvilleCrossing list and I find we kind of look out for each other's surnames and because of the "atmosphere" we get to know each other. I think that's why the reunion in 1999 is catching on so fast. Everybody wants to meet each other and put a face to a name. SO FAR, I haven't made the same kind of connections on the Decatur list but am hoping. Your helpful hint on my SAINT line sent me looking for SANT and when I get a chance to get to the library, I bet I can get past my "brick wall" on that line. There was a hint in your message about Perry Co., and I've subscribed to that list but so far not one message from that list. Guess I need to put out a feeler and see what comes up. I like a list with a lot of activity and I read thru most of the ones from the county or surname lists even if the subject line doesn't interest me, just in case. But I do delete a lot of messages from other lists, i.e. GenTips, etc. and in fact they're almost too active for my taste but every now and then I get a good tip on a website so I keep subscribing.
