Does anyone have any info on Josiah aka Grant Montgomery wed Parthena aka Thera(Temple) Montgomery? David & Harriet Montgomery were Josiah's parents. There is an old family story that when Josiah (Grant) returned from the Civil War he was told of a man who had been mistreating his family and went to this man's home and shot him, the man then fell in a fire and burned. There was no punishment given to Josiah (Grant). Also, Josiah was supposed to be adopted by David & Harriet.
