Renea, and other Autry folks, I checked my source ["Hendrex Family" by Nadine Hendrex Ballard, 1992] for the Jesse Autry md Maudie Towers data........it definitely says Towers, but she did not give individual sources for her information, and she could have made a typo. If your source is not readily available, I can have my sister call Nadine and ask her about it. (They both live in the San Antonio, TX area, and Nadine is not on e-mail.) Many of my relatives were buried in the Christian Chapel Cemetery, so they were likely in that area, but I don't know much about Tennessee. All I know is Henderson, Decatur, Benton and Carroll counties are places where they lived and died. One of these days I hope to visit and see for myself!
