Renea, Re your post of 8 Apr, my source shows the father of Jane A. Davis (1821) to be a John B. Davis. [Source: "Hendrex Family" by Nadine Hendrex Ballard, 1992.] Your message shows a John B. Davis to be the father of the John William Davis (b: 1847) who married the daughter of Jane A. Davis and Meridith Hendrix, Margaret Ann Isabell Hendrix (b: 1847). Did we have several John W.
