Betty, My GG-Grand father married a Rebbeca Blackwell from the Henderson Co. area around 1870. I have not had much luck finding anything on her. I have not been able to look at an 1870 census for this county, so not sure of her birth year or the exact year she and Aaron Pierce married. Their first child was brn. 1874 (James Richard Pierce). Her husband Aaron Pierce was brn. 1842. Family states Rebbeca had two brothers, James and Granger? She died late 1880`s and is buried in Roellen, a small town close to Dyersburg TN. Do you have a Rebecca or her two brothers in your data? I would love to find something on her. My search is mainly with Pearce/Pierce, but she has been such a mystery! Thank-you for your time.
