Does anyone on this list have family that was enumerated in the 1850 Decatur Co, TN, census, but you can't seem to find them in the 1860 Decatur Co, TN, census? I would really like to hear from anyone who has family that disappeared and cannot be found in 1860. After comparing the 1850 & 1860 censuses, it appears there are a number of families missing. Either they weren't counted in 1860 or they moved elsewhere. ...which was it? Does anyone know where everyone moved to? ...or did the census taker not do his job? Thanks for any help.
