She was born Feb. 3, 1903 in Perry County, TN; married Arthur Farris Brawley on Dec. 5, 1924 had the four children you already know about and died on Oct. 16, 1936 in Decatur Co, TN. She is buried at Lone Chestnut Cemetery in Decatur Co. For many years there was no tombstone for her but my father, Forrest P. Lafferty, placed one there sometime in the 1980's. She was the daughter of Thomas Pleas & Ethel (Thompson) Lafferty.
