These were my great great great grandparents! I have her being born 5-18-1857 and died June 17 1917. They are buried in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Decatur County TN. If this could be some of your family please let me know, I will share all the info I have with you! Melanie
I think I have may have connected my Williamson's to a William and Nancy Williamson that were in Hardin Co., TN 1870. I found a George and Felitha/Telitha/Tabitha Williamson with son Tom, who would be the right age. George is the son of William and Nancy Williamson. William and George both fought in the Civil war on the Union side, and William was killed. George spent 13 months in Andersonville Prison. George and his brother's, John and James are listed on the 1891 voter's index for Hardin Co. TN These Williamson's migrated to Stoddard Co., MO and Dunklin CO., MO. I found my great great Uncle, Riley Williamson (George's son)on the 1910 census living in Stoddard Co., MO along with John B. Williamson, the son of William and Nancy and the brother of George. I am pretty sure that these are my Williamson's. On the 1850 census for Henderson Co., TN. William and Nancy Williamson (my George's parents)are listed with their children and there is a daughter named Louisa, age 8. On the 1860 census for Henderson Co., TN she is listed as E.L. Williamson age 18. There is also listed on the 1870 census for Henderson Co., TN, a James Williamson with a daughter Louisa E. Williamson age 14. That would be about the right age for your Louisa. I found your Andrew Jackson and Louisa Phillips on the 1880 census in Decatur Co., TN., they have a son, James and a son William listed. Since both our Williamson's are in Henderson Co. at the same time I can't help but think that they are related, we just have to find out how. Let me know what you think.
