Novella Tole died Saturday in Milwaukee. She was principal/teacher at Perryville Elementary (black) in the 1940s, and later taught at Decatur County Training School (early 1950s-1956), Crowder School (1956-1965), and Decaturville Elementary (beginning 1965). She will be buried in Decaturville later this week.
