Re. Henry Hill Brown 1. You have a typo re. War of 1812: Enlisted 1813, not 1831. 2. Biographical Directory had/has an error in wife's name. She was Nancy Ellington Marshall (not Mary). 3. The child "whose name does not appear" was Jordan (04 Sept 1824 -TN----20 Nov 1867-TX. 4. I have considerable addl. info on HHB (censuses & land records, etc.) and info on all children. 5. I would truly like to correspond with anyone who has addl. info on HHB's death & burial. There was a tiny notice in the Nashville Whig indicating that he died there, but a land sale in June 1847 calls him "of Decatur Co." and the 1850 census shows his widow, with one daughter still 'at home' and 2 married children in Decatur Co.--Dist. 2, and another in Dist. 4. Lynn (Brown) Neill, a direct descendant.
