    3. SERVICES FOR R.R. HERNDON Funeral services of Ruben R. Herndon of Darden were held at Mt. Tabour with burial in the cemetery at that place on Monday afternoon. He was 66 and had died of a heart attack about 6:30 Sunday afternoon at his home. He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Herndon, was reared in the Mt. Tabour community and had spent his life on the farm. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and a member of the Salem Baptist Church at Jeannette. Surviving relatives include his wife, who was Miss Mary Hays; sons Perry Herndon of Darden, Albert Herndon of Parsons and Alton Herndon of Beacon; his step-mother, Mrs. Mittie Herndon of Lexington and two step-sisters. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. G.G. Joyner of Parsons and Parsons Mortuary had charge of arrangements. MRS. PERRY BUTLER BURIED AT BATH SPRINGS Mrs. Perry Butler was buried in the Red House Cemetery at Bath Springs on March 11, following her death on Thursday. She was 61 and a victim of cancer. Mrs. Butler was a member of the Old Center Methodist Church. Funeral services, held at Mt. Nebo Methodist Church, were conducted by her pastor, Rev. B.I. Crider, who was assisted by Rev. Elmo Blakeley. Surviving relatives include her husband, a sister, Mrs. F.W.
