SERVICES HELD SUNDAY FOR MRS. GENORA EVANS Mrs. Genora Evans, 58, died at her home in the Old Safford Community late Saturday afternoon and was buried in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery Sunday afternoon. Services were conducted in the Pleasant Grove Church by Reverends Woodard Bartholomew and W.A. Moody. She was a victim of cancer. Mrs. Evans was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Bud Johnson and the widow of the late Claude Evans who died more than 20 years ago. She was a member of the Prospect Baptist Church. Surviving relatives include a son, Gordon Evans, of Route 3; a daughter, Mrs. Mable Inman of Holladay; sisters, Mrs. John Hearington of Parsons and Mrs. Troy Chumney of Nashville, and grandchildren James F. Evans and Claudene Inman.
