Hi Athalia, does the Decatur County Library have tax records from the early 1800's and if it does, could someone check for a William Young for me? He was born about 1803 in Tennessee and as far as I know, always lived in the Perry/Decatur counties area. His wife's name was Almeda if that matters. The last census he was shown on was the 1860 one so probably died and is also buried in Decatur County. Thank you.
