Evening everyone--I have been searching all the TN mailing lists in hopes that I can connect with someone researching my line of KELLEY's. Your group seems to be a hot bed of people with that name and people researching the name. I figured I would join the party and send in a query. Noah KELLEY and Hannah HICKS were married in Wilson Co, TN 8 July 1806 (I have a copy of their bond, a Richard HICKS signed for Hannah--father?) Both Noah and Hannah were born ca 1785, he in DE or NC, she in NC. Noah "conveyed" land to John NALL in 1813 in Dickson Co., TN. Noah and Hannah had six children James, Silas, Elizabeth, Isaac (my direct line), Martha, and Noah. All, according to IL censuses where I begin picking them up in 1840, were born in TN (county unknown) between ca 1809 and ca 1823. Does this ring a bell with anyone? Thanks for your help!
