Fran The address for the Decatur County, TN Cemeteries is http://www.tengenweb.org/decatur/cemeteries/index.html Good Luck, Marie -----Original Message----- From: Fran in California <franmrlo@cwnet.com> Sent: Mar 9, 2005 7:48 PM To: TNDECATU-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [TNDECATU] Mary Ann (Swafford) MOORE & 2 son's deaths Will someone please do a lookup for the date of death for a mother and her three sons, and the cemetery where they are buried? The woman's name was Mary Ann (Swafford) MOORE, born 1855, and thought to have died 1886-1887. Her two young sons were William O., born 1880, and Franklin L. born 1884. Family stories state that the two young boys each died from measles during the same time frame. It was thought that she and her youngsters were buried in Perryville, but that was hearsay. One other son, Charlie C. MOORE, born 1886, suffered from seizures, and it was thought he died young also. If possible, I would like to know when he died, and where he was buried. After Mary Ann's death, her husband Thomas Johnston MOORE remarried in Dec 1887. He and his second wife were buried in Sardis Ridge Cemetery. Thank you for any help you can offer.
