These notes are in a letter written by my anscestor John Grigg about the family. " Jake Grigg married-died in Hardin Co., (Tn), left two children, Jones and a girl, Jones married, died in Decatur Co., Tn, and left four children who lived in Decatur Co., , near Scotts Hill" I have very little on him. He was born to Samuel Grigg and Mary Polly Grimes..He lived in Wayne co., abt. 1842, land deed,. He was named in his father's will in 1856. So he died after that. I have not found him in the 1850 Census of Ten. Jacob F. "Jake" Grigg(s)/Gregg b. betw.1805-1821 Maury Co.,Tn married unknown in Tn. had two known children one named Jones Grigg and a girl unnamed. I thought maybe it was James or Jonas, but I studied the letter and it seems to be Jones. Does anyone connect to a Grigg fimily in Decatur Co.,Tn? and Can anyone tell me somthing about the Area of Scotts Hill. I understand it is close to the line of Henderson co., Also. Are there any History books for that area? or a area library? Thank your for any help Linda
