Dinwiddie Co., VA They had one known child, Martha Howell Adams, born 3 Nov 1796, Dinwiddie City, Dinwiddie Co., VA. Martha Howell Adams married Valentine Derry Barry, 1 Feb 1816, Springfield, Robertson Co., TN They had children: William Alexander Barry 23 Nov 1816, Springfield, Robertson Co., TN. Henry Allen Barry, 2 Feb 1817, (compare dates, probably not correct, will recheck my source) Springfield, Robertson Co., TN. Martha Ann Eliza Barry, 25 Apr 1821, Springfield, Robertson, Co., TN Eudora Roland Barry, 11 Mar 1826, Bolivar, Hardeman Co., TN Valentine Daniel Barry, 10 Nov 1830, Bolivar, Hardeman Co., TN. 1830 Census, Hardeman Co., TN 1840 Census, not located. I have evidence that Valentine and Martha were residing in Perry Co., for a fairly long period of time. I assume they were in Perry Co. at this census. 1850 Census, Sumner Co. Martha died 7 May 1845 in Memphis, Shelby Co., TN. Valentine died 28 Apr 1853, Memphis, Shelby Co., TN. Both were buried in Winchester Cemetery which was later destroyed. Many of the graves were moved to Elmwood Cemetery, but no documentation on Martha and Valentine.
