I am researching the Floyd family of Decatur County. I can make some assumptions based on the census records, but there are no marriage records available before 1865 online. Can anyone tell me if there are marriage records for Decatur County before 1865 and how they can be accessed? I would also like to hear from anyone who is researching this family. My main target is William Forest Floyd born 1864 in Decatur. His mother was Elizabeth ? and his father is undetermined at this time, although I have a few ideas. I would appreciate any help at all.
