John was son of Rueben Houston and Sarah Bathsheba (Lancaster) Tucker. Reuben was son of William Alexander Tucker and Nancy Graham who married in Perry/Decatur county in 1843-4. Reuben was also my ggfather and another son of his (William David) was my grandfather. I can trace the family back to NC, but havent been able to prove connections after that. William Alexander was son of Jacob and Nancy Anglin Tucker m. 1818 in Williamson Co., Tenn. Jacob also had brother who wound up in Decatur Co, and raised a large family (George Washington Tucker 1801-1895). If you would care to contact me directly, I can provide more data.
