Just a thought...I remember being told that back in those days if you had any Native American blood in you, you were not allowed to be buried inside the cemetary proper but could be buried outside the fence. This from an Autry that has his greatgrandmother buried outside the fence. If there was Baker cem. at that time seems funny she would be buried in a field. Rachel is also my Ancestor. Again the old mystery of "if James Akin ( her grandson) was the "Indian" that raised my greatgrandmother and his father Lot Akin was not Native American but Scots/Irish then it goes back to his mother Winney who is daughter of Rachel Harriet Petty Fields Baker Malugin.
