Believe you have the wrong Willkiam White as husband to Nancy Lacy. Believe Nancy Lacy married William White b 1864 d 1893,son of Nowell White and Nancy J. Russell. The marriage license lists Charles Reuben White as bondsman,and Charles Reuben was Nowells son also.The late Bonnie White Allen of Decatur WAS the Grandaughter of Nowell. Have been looking for the father of Humphrey White for years to no avail.
