    2. Re: Henderson County TN, 1848-1849 10th District Even though this land grant is for Henderson County, TN, I thought I would post here, too, because sometimes family lines interrelate in Decatur and Henderson counties. Do you recognize any of these names? Names in the land grand to the heirs of Amy CONYERS Fuller are: Adam M. Brown Jordan Fuller (Note: Jordan is the brother-in-law of Amy Conyers Fuller. Jordan Fuller is son of Capt. Jones Fuller, Am. Revolutionary War soldier. Jones died and is buried in NC.) Martin Phleminins (?spelling) John Brewer Date of land grant is 1 April 1849, by the Governor W. S. Brown, W. B. A. Ramsey, Secretary of State. 2. Pat Hansen
    3. I am seeking the denomination and/or church where my great-great grandparents were married in 1865 in Decaturville. All I know is the name of the clergyman (Isaac Brasher) and the date (December 10, 1865). Is there some kind of book or history to tell which clergymen served where and for which faith? I know the Catholics have such a directory, but I am not sure of others. Pat Hansen

    2. Linda
    3. Hi, There is a Grigg(s) family that lived in Decatur Co., Tn. I have very little to go on. Here is how the story goes.. "Samuel Grigg b. 1778 and Mary Grimes-Grigg of Maury Co., Tn. had a son named Jacob F. Grigg (Jake) born between 1807-1814 d. after 1856, he married unknown, he died in Hardin Co., Tn, He left two children, Jones? and a girl. Jones Grigg married unknown, died in Decatur Co., Tn. and left four children(unnamed) who lived in Decatur Co., near Scotts Hill" I don't know if the wife of Jones remarried, but the children would have been named Grigg(s). Does anyone have any Grigg ancestors that would fit this discription? There would have been four Grigg children. Any help Apreciated. Linda
