Faye,  Would there be records for Dickson County, TN there? I am searching for probate records for William B. West who died in Dickson Co, TN 1820/1821. He came to Dickson County from Bertie, NC before 1812. There was a William West Billips that changed his name to William B. West in Bertie. I suspect it is this man. I am hoping to find a connection to Billips in his probate records. I have been through the ones on familysearch.org with no luck. His wife is Elizabeth and William West Billips married an Elizabeth Fleetwood. I would love to know if there is a connection to that family in the records also. William B. West is my 4th great grandfather and I would love to know if his birth name was Billips and not West. That is so sweet of you to offer to do a look-up. I appreciate it so much!  Thank you!
