Greetings... I have spent years researching a branch of our family tree that left New York City for Nashville circa 1930. John J Foley married Mary Agnes Beattie (my relative). Then had a son named Jonathan J Foley. In fact, according to stories in the family, there were three or four generations of Jonathan J Foley's in the Nashville area. I believe I found my first BIG clue about the family tonight when I discovered a newspaper article about people from Nashville who were serving in 1941 (Pearl Harbor).
