Hi DAVIDSON list, I have a Naomi ARMSTRONG (1795-1872). On April 1, 1816, I have it that she married James LEEPER (1790-1839). Her parents were Mathew ARMSTRONG and Margaret Shipley SLOAN, but I lack further data about those parents. The LEEPER family is a major family in my data base. They settled in colonial Virginia and in the late 1700s moved on to Tennessee. Some in the 1800s moved to Missouri. Knowing that spelling varies, I also have a Narcissa P. SLOANE (1825-1865) who married on September 17, 1850 in Washington Co, Missouri a Garrett F. TIDWELL (1823-1886). The TIDWELL family also came into colonial Virginia, lived a couple of generations in Tennessee, and moved to Missouri. Our lineage includes a LEEPER-TIDWELL marriage. If any of you can relate to any of these folks, I am glad to share. I do have considerable LEEPER and TIDWELL data.
