Looking for more information on the parents of William G. CARLISLE. William was born ca 1820 in Tennessee..possibly Wilson County. He married Marcia/Maria (?). Children born to them were: Paralie Carlisle - Married Jesse Cuzzort 1862 George W. Carlisle - Married Missouri A. Still 1859 Samuel Hoover Carlisle - Married Elizabeth Coltharp 1862 James K. Polk Carlisle - Married Sarah Emma Vaughn I believe the mother of William G. Carlisle was a Sarah. She was living with the family on the 1850 census. Thanks Kathy KBernardi1@aol.com
