The orphan school she attended closed several years ago and I can't find the records - I don't know who would have them. Neither Davidson county Archives or Tennessee State Archives has Fanning Orphan School records. My Ggrandmother's mom (or grandmother) and stepdad seem to just vanish from sight, so I seem to be at a dead end there too. Any other ideas? God bless!!! Brant
