Hi, List... I'm looking for any information on George Ringold DOVE, who was born in 1839-40, maybe in LaVergne, Rutherford county, TN. I have reason to believe he may have lived in Davidson county in 1857. Can anyone confirm this? 1870 census places him in Rye Cove, Scott county, VA with a wife (Rosamond, nee CARTER)and 2 children. I would be *really* interested to find out more about his family (parents may have been Ringold and Fanny DOVE) and if he was previously married... or any other information!
