Does anyone have information regarding the writings of Rev JW Matlock? He supposedly wrote " The Reluctant Pioneer", which is suppose to be an account of the Cotton family which came to Tennesee with the Donelson Party. I am also searching for information on the family of this John Cotton who came to the Nashville area with the Donelson Party. John Cotton's wife has been stated as being Mary Lodema "Deem" Felston Cotton. Looking for information regarding his ancestry and descendants or historical items of interest during this time period.
