I have a 3rd greatgrandfather who was enlisted in Tennessee for the War of 1812. I have information regarding the names of the commanding officers in the infantry groups he served in. He was from Middle Tennessee. Does anyone know how to obtain records for this War of 1812 ? I am interested in Pensions, enlistments, activity of the infantry groups and etc. Any records that might be available on this and where they might be found. Thank you. Marla
