Am seeking info on Alexander DOUGLASS. He arrived in Davidson Co. from Halifax Co. Va. sometime after 1785. He left Davidson Co. circa 1818 for White Co. Ill. Don"t know his wifes name. Children were: Henry (born 1808 in Halifax Co.), Thompson, Fanny, Wiliam, Polly, Smith (born 1818 in Davison Co.), Harriet, Peter, Handers. Could he be related to the Hugh Douglass cited in "Tennessee Cousins"? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Al D.
