    3. I am searching for information on Elizabeth GOINGS b. Abt 1790 and her sons, Alexander GOINGS b. abt 1822, Andrew Davis GOINGS b. 1/5/1831, and Thomas GOINGS b. abt 1832. They were in Goodlettsville, Davidson Co., TN in the 1850 and 1860 censuses. The family moved child by child to Graves Co., KY in the 50's and 60's. Alexander had the following children, all thought to be born in Davidson Co.: James b. abt 1840, Nancy J. b. abt 1841, Daniel T. b abt 1843, James William b. abt 1845, Hugh b.abt 1847, and Rosannah b. abt 1851. James may be a cousin rather than a son of Alexander's, as in the 1850 census, he was listed underneath Elizabeth's name rather than Alexander's, although Elizabeth was living with her son Alexander. Neither he nor Elizabeth were listed in the 1860 census. I have a marriage bond for Daniel T. GOINES to marry Ellen E. HOOBERRY, bond December 20, 1864. This bond was signed by Daniel T. and Thomas LOWERY (his mark). This bond was not accompanied by a certificate of marriage. However, there is a later bond, which I do not have, for Ellen E. Hooberry to marry Thomas C. Lovelace, December 1864. The only name we have for Daniel's wife is "Tissie". I have a bond for James W. GOWENS to marry Martha HOOBERRY, December 6, 1864. This bond was signed by James W. GOWENS (his mark) and William THOMAS (his mark). This bond was not accompanied by a certificate of marriage. I do not have a name for a wife of James W. I have a bond with a certificate of marriage for Nancy J. GOWEN to marry Robert H. LOWERY, 12/1/1864. I have traced Robert to living a few households up from Nancy's family with Thomas LOWRY in the 1860 census. Also he and Nancy are living next door to Alexander in the 1870 Graves Co., Ky., census. Nancy's bond was signed by Robert H. Lowery and Daniel T. Goines. Thomas and his family were listed in the 1860 Graves Co., Ky. census. Elizabeth was said to have come from North Carolina, but that could have been Knoxville, TN, at that time. We do not have the name of her husband. We think all three of her children were born in NC. The name has changed through the centuries to GOIN on my maternal line, but some of the other descendants' name changed only to GOINS. If anyone has any information that would help, I would greatly appreciate it. I am a direct descendant of Andrew Davis GOINGS, and have information for that family. I will gladly trade.
