Hello Folks, My first posting to this list. Is anyone else researching the MITCHELL families in Davidson Co., Tn.? Facing a brick wall on my 3rd G-Gmor, Mary "Polly" MITCHELL born 1792 _?_ TN / VA (Franklin) m. 1814 Davidson Co., TN Joseph GREER. They were in MO (Lafayette) by abt. 1834 and lived there until their deaths - she in 1862 and Joseph 1871. Joseph does not show up on Census lists in MO 1850-1870, so cannot find her place of birth yet. Will be so happy to hear from anyone researching the MITCHELLs who might know the parentage and/or place of birth of my Mary "Polly." Thank you. Dolores ***
