The article mentions that a James Whitsitt, son-in-law of Mr. James Menees, was one of the first pastors at Mill Creek. Has anyone any more information on these familes of Whitsett, Harvery and Menees? In the cemetery listings the following are listed: Sam Porter Whitsett 1836-1925 Seluda Harvery Whitsett 1844-1917 Infant Whitsett 1849-1849 Jean P.Whitsett 1874-1949 Robert Allen Whitsett 1888-1934 Joseph Danial Harvery 1854-1918 Was Seluda Whitsett origanally Seluda Harvey? Who were the Harvery family? Who did she marry? Who were her parents? Did she have children? Thanks for helping me unravel these clues.
